This was the Writer’s Block question today:

If you were asked to recommend one destination in your country to LiveJournal friends who had never been to your country before, what place would you choose, and why?

I lol’ed. Everything sounds so Hetalia’ed nowadays, lol. And, well. Since Lulu is the fifth largest country there are lots of places to recommend. I haven’t been to all famous spots and I’ve lived here all my life. I think it’s more expensive to visit the Northeast State-tans than, say, Argentina.

So, considering the places I’ve been to, I’d say, first, Iguaçu Falls. And then Rio de Janeiro.

It’s gorgeous. And you can go to Argentina and Paraguay and buy cheap Chinese stuff and, erm, maybe get shot trying to come back because lots of people go to Paraguay to do just that – not get shot, buy cheap stuff – and look, don’t tell me you don’t have problems with illegal stuff in your borders. Anyway. I went there and nothing happened, so there. Plus, it’s exciting. Really.

The only problem with Foz is that the city itself is boring. Once you saw the waterfalls and did your illegal shopping, there’s nothing else to do, so three days are more than enough.

So you should go to Rio de Janeiro.

(erm. That’s not a really clever travel plan because the two cities not even in the same state, but who cares?)

Rio is having some problems with crime and stuff, but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s fricking beautiful. And the people there are the nicest you’ll ever met (well. Except for the ones who want to rob you, of course). And there’s lots of stuff to do, so three days is not even nearly enough. o/

Now, give me recs. What should I see at your country/state/province/whatever?

And nao for some meme tiems:

▪ Leave me a comment saying "Suddenly an unconscious Argentinean fell through my roof."
▪ I'll respond by asking you five questions so I can get to know you better.
▪ Update your journal with the answers to the questions.
▪ Include this explanation in the post and offer to ask other people questions.

[livejournal.com profile] zulenha asked (and I translated for the hell of it):

1. How long does it take for you to write a story?
2. If you could meet anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would you want to meet?
3. What did you want to be when you were chibi!Marizinha lol what a cute question
4. What’s your oldest memory?
5. What would you do if an unconscious Argentinean suddenly fell though your roof?

1. Well I’M GLAD YOU ASKED BECAUSE I WANTED TO RAMBLE ABOUT IT. It depends. When I’m inspired and know what I’m doing, it takes me two or three hours, depending on how long the thing is (it can take the whole night too, sometimes). Sometimes it’s almost like a gift from heaven or something, the plot bunny finds me and the whole thing comes together and I just sit and write. But sometimes I have just one scene or one line, and then it takes me days to find a way to make it work. Or months. Sometimes I finish the thing and I know it’s boring and flat but I can’t see why, so I have to spend a few days thinking about it. The one about football, I did it back in July, and it took me months to find out what I wanted to do with it. It looked completely different when I first wrote it, lol. But the one about miscegenation I wrote it in one go (the research took me longer than the actual writing orz). Either way, I usually give myself at least one day to think it over and give the bunnies time to come up with new stuff to add before I post.
2. ... lemme think. I don’t know. I’m shy and boring D: But since I was watching Muppets Christmas Carol yesterday, now I’d like to have sex hang out with Michael Cane. Especially if he stays in characters. LOOK AT THAT WILL YOU, he’s wearing a black coat and a red scarf! Come here you sexy beast you <3<3
3. Well, I went through that phase when I wanted to be a doctor and a teacher and an actress and a TV host show and a writer and a pilot and maybe the president of the world on my free time. But I ended up settling for being a psychologist. I think it came from a conversation with mom, she told me about all those cool tests when someone draws a house and a tree and you read their minds and I thought it was cool. I LIKED THE POWER.
4. Hm... hiding under the stairs with my sisters. It was really cool, it was our secret hiding place and we stored all sorts of toys there and it was secret and NO ONE COULD FIND US. Now I kind think my parents knew about it. You know. Just a thought. That, and trying to skip school. I hated school orz.
5. I think I’d have to molest him. No other options, really. Argentineans are sexy and hot and he shouldn’t be in my roof in the first place if he didn’t want it u.u

/now back to writing bad fic for the greatest justice o/
