Just Killing Time

Question to all the girls around:
So, I was wasting my time reading some articles on psychology or something (you know how it is, you start in some site about the best quotes from SpongeBob Squarepants and end up reading something about Co-dependence for Dummies or… something, that’s not the point) and I reached this thing here with the Ten Elements of Effective Relationships, and the author said Transparency and Communication were keys to a good relationship and then he told the following anecdote to exemplify a healthy and open interaction between husband and wife:
If you're going to be transparent and communicate, then you might as well put it all out there. Truth goes a lot farther than eggshell walking.
A friend of mine was shopping with his wife and, modeling a dress, she said, "Honey, does this dress make me look fat?" (This is a true story). He said, "No baby...it's the extra 20 pounds you're carrying that make you look fat." - oh, my... And then he said, "You know, I think we could probably both take better care of ourselves - maybe we should start working out together or something."
A source of potential conflict and discontent is transformed into a source of mutual growth and cultivation. Telling the truth about the way that we feel can only benefit a relationship. Stuffing never ends well.
... So, to all the girls who happen to read this: am I the only one who would NEVER forgive this guy?
Working out together. YEAH RIGHT.
/well, told you I was wasting time.
